Tiny drops of water fall over me.
I barely feel them
My stretched arms resting on the wet grass
My closed eyes looking deep inside me
A place I'm not
A place you once were
The soft nocturnal breeze blows by me.
I barely feel it
My damaged soul exhaling in the air
My dry lips trying to utter something
An unknown feeling
A nameless place
A lightning crashes way too far.
I barely hear it
My mind delving out the last memories of you
My hands rescuing what has left of me
An empty shell
A broken heart
My weary body crumbles.
I barely feel myself
Reality is too tough to be faced
I'm so wounded to be healed without scars
I'll barely live from now on
